This volume is a path-breaker-an example of management built on cultural antropology. It examines Filipino oraganizations that have undergone change and asks the question wether there was anything distinctly Filipino in the way the change took place. 

It highlights the decisive role that ordinary employees play in making possible the actions toward renewal or rebirth and in sustaining the energies and new structures that allow for the change to take hold.
