Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay – The Municipality of Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay requested technical assistance on the Local Infrastructure Monitoring and Evaluation–20 (LIME-20) system, formerly known as the Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation of LGU Infrastructure Projects (RLIP), on January 30, 2026, at the conference room of the Municipal Hall of Alicia.
The activity was attended by the LIME-20 focal persons of the Municipality of Alicia, with additional participation from focal persons of the nearby Municipality of Payao, Zamboanga Sibugay.
The technical assistance was facilitated by Engr. Phoelian Dannie Y. Bargamento, LIME-20 Focal Person, who initially discussed the process of creating an account in the DBM portal for submitting funding requests under the Local Government Support Fund – Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FALGU). The session was joined by Engr. Lea T. Nedera, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) of Alicia, and Engr. Jenny L. Sagun, LGOO II, from the DILG Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Office.
Following the DBM portal orientation, a comprehensive discussion on LIME-20 was conducted, covering the step-by-step process of project enrollment, the required forms and supporting documents, and a live simulation of the LIME-20 portal to familiarize participants with the system’s functionalities.
To reinforce learning and ensure application, a hands-on workshop was facilitated wherein the LIME-20 focal persons encoded their respective infrastructure projects funded under their LGU’s 20% Development Fund based on their current and approved AIP directly into the portal. This approach allowed participants to immediately apply the discussed procedures and address concerns in real time.
The technical assistance aimed to enhance the capacity of LGU technical personnel in utilizing LIME-20 as a monitoring platform, ensuring accurate reporting, improved project tracking, and strengthened compliance with national government requirements for infrastructure project implementation and evaluation.
