MIDSALIP, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR — On July 8, 2025, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region IX conducted a site inspection and coordination meeting in Barangay Matalang, Midsalip in support of the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP).

The team paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Elmer M. Soronio and convened at the municipal hall to discuss project updates and implementation progress. The inspection team included MLGOO Glenn Paul P. Abong; Engr. Phoelian Dannie Y. Bargamento, Regional SBDP Focal; Engr. Rom Oliver T. Perez, Provincial Engineer; and Project Evaluation Officer II Deofie Marxlin M. Santander.

They reviewed ongoing LGSF-SBDP projects and inspected the proposed site for a one-storey school building under the SBDP-Unprogrammed Appropriations. Project statuses were presented through the RPMES and SubayBAYAN systems.
