The Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) of DILG Region IX convened its 2nd Quarter Meeting on July 2, 2025, at the DILG Regional Office IX Conference Hall in Pagadian City. The meeting brought together GFPS members to present the 1st semester accomplishments, outline second semester deliverables, and discuss the submission of Means of Verification (MOVs) for the GAD Seal Program.

The session highlighted the region’s ongoing efforts to strengthen gender mainstreaming through coordinated planning, performance review, and compliance with national GAD standards. Key agreements included designated timelines, action points, and assigned focal persons to ensure timely and quality implementation of GAD-related initiatives.
