Zoom Teleconference – In preparation for the national phase of the 2025 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA), the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region IX convened key local officials and focal persons for a virtual finalization meeting on April 7, 2025. The activity aimed to ensure the completeness, quality, and timeliness of documentary submissions to the National Awards Committee. The session also included technical inputs and coaching for participating Local Government Units (LGUs) and their respective Lupong Tagapamayapa representatives.

During the meeting, DILG IX formally announced and recognized the region’s top-performing barangays in the Katarungang Pambarangay system. These included outstanding barangays from across the region’s provinces, representing all eight categories of the LTIA. The announcement served as a recognition of their exemplary practices in delivering effective, community-based justice.

Participants were also briefed on on-site validation updates, documentary requirements, and coaching strategies to strengthen their final submissions. An open forum provided an opportunity to address queries and align next steps. With their documents nearly complete, the region’s finalists are one step closer to national recognition for excellence in upholding peace, order, and grassroots conflict resolution.
