Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur – In a move to sharpen its strategic direction and ensure accountability across all units, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) IX convened its key personnel for the finalization of its OPB Targets on February 20, 2026.

Held at the DILG IX Conference Hall in Balintawak, Pagadian City, the activity was more than just a routing meeting, it was a crucial exercise in aligning the region’s goals with the national government’s priority programs. The session aimed to solidify the Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) and Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) targets for the coming cycles, ensuring that every action taken by the office is results-oriented and impactful.

Facilitating the meticulous process was Planning Officer III Pamela Grace G. Amantiad. With her expertise, she guided the participants through a thorough review of each indicator, fostering a collaborative environment to refine strategies and set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound) targets.

The finalized OPB targets will serve as the Department’s roadmap for the year, a commitment to deliver efficient and effective service to the local government units (LGUs) and communities across Zamboanga Peninsula. By crystallizing its objectives, DILG IX reinforces its dedication to being a proactive and reliable partner in local governance, ensuring that progress is not just a vision, but a measurable reality.
