In celebration of the 31st Local Government Day, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zamboanga City Field Office, in partnership with the City Government of Zamboanga lead the commemoration of the 31st anniversary of the 1991 Local Government Code’s enactment, yesterday October 10, 2022 at Zamboanga City Hall.

As part of the commemorative activity, Zamboanga City Mayor John Dalipe, Assistant Regional Director Carmelo Enrique B. Libot, CESO V and City Director Ginagene S. Vaño Uy led in the conferment of award to the Top Performing Barangays on the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) Functionality Assessment for CY 2022 and 2021.

Several activities were also conducted by the City Government of Zamboanga after the Kick-off Ceremony in support of the celebration.

Apart from the dignitaries, also present in the activity are the local officials of the City of Zamboanga, barangay officials and functionaries and DILG City Office personnel.
