LOCAL GOVERNANCE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LGPMS)

                The Local Governance Performance Management System (LGPMS) is a self-assessment and web-based development management tool for provinces, cities and municipalities capable of providing information on the capacities and limitations of local government units in the delivery of essential public services.

                For CY 2012, the summary of LGPMS compliance of LGUs have been monitored, as follows:

–          LGUs w/ HIGH Rating                –              40 LGUs (3 Provinces; 5 Cities; 32 Mun.)         

–          LGUs w/ FAIR Rating  –              34 Mun.              

–          LGU w/ POOR Rating –              1 (Buug, ZSP)

Based on the on-line LGPMS results generated, provinces, cities and municipalities of Region IX formulated their respective State of Local Governance Reports (SLGRs) CY 2012.
