Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials from across Region IX gathered together for Wemboree 2025 in Guipos Cave Resort, Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur, last October 1-5, 2025. With the theme “Changing Mindsets from Me to We,” the event emphasized the importance of collective action, unity, and shared responsibility among young leaders. 

Serving as host, the Municipality of Guipos warmly welcomed participants and provided support, creating an environment that made the event both productive and memorable. Throughout the five-day activity, participants engaged in interactive workshops, team-building exercises, and plenary discussions designed to foster collaboration and strengthen their commitment to public service. The event also served as a venue for exchanging ideas and best practices among youth leaders, reinforcing the spirit of bayanihan and active citizenship.

Wemboree 2025 stood as a testament to the growing leadership and solidarity of the youth in Region IX—proving that meaningful change begins when young leaders unite for a common purpose.
