The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region IX Quality Management System Regional Committee convened to formally open the National Quality Management Assessment FY 2022 on October 10, 2022 via Zoom Teleconference.
ISO 9001:2015 is a set of standards that specifies the requirements for a QMS when an organization must exemplify its ability to consistently provide services that meet client requirements and enhance client satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for system improvement and assurance of compliance to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
This activity is designed to assess the extent to which DILG’s Quality Management System (QMS) complies with ISO 9001: 2015 standards and applicable legal requirements, to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the documented QMS process in relation to the set objectives and requirements, to contribute to the continuous improvement of DILG QMS processes, and to confirm its readiness for third-party audit.
Discussed during the meeting are the schedule of the audit for the different areas/functions of the QMS, its designated QMS Assessor and Auditee.
