PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE FUND

In recognition of the efforts of local government units in Region IX, deserving LGUs were afforded with the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) subsidy, an incentive fund intended for the best performing LGUs that passed the Seal of Good Housekeeping (SGH) which comes in the form of counterpart funding intended for local development projects for the LGUs, to wit:

–          2010 Recipients                            –               2 LGUs

–          2011 Recipients                             –               16 LGUs (1 Province; 15 Mun.)

–          2012 Recipients                             –               13 LGUs (Province-ZSP; City-Zamboanga;

11 Municipalities)

                Identified development projects of concerned LGUs are undergoing initials stages and phases of implementation and the same are regularly monitored by the regional and field offices for purposes of ensuring transparency in compliance with laws and directives.
