Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte – The Joint Regional Task Force on Ending Local Communist Armed Conflict (JRTF-ELCAC) IX convened for its CY 2024 4th Quarter Meeting on December 05, 2024, at Mibang Hotel, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.

Key stakeholders from various government agencies and partner organizations gathered to discuss the region’s progress and strategies in sustaining peace and addressing the root causes of insurgency. The meeting emphasized a whole-of-nation approach, focusing on harmonizing efforts to bring development and public service closer to conflict-affected and geographically isolated areas.

Highlights of the discussion included updates on peace and development initiatives, evaluation of ongoing programs, and planning for the upcoming year’s projects. The JRTF-ELCAC IX reaffirmed its commitment to fostering inclusive governance and ensuring that communities remain insurgency-free.
