Zoom Teleconference – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) IX conducted a virtual Orientation on the Road and Bridge Information System (RBIS) on January 15, 2025, to enhance participants’ skills in updating and managing infrastructure data.

DILG IX Regional Director Paisal O. Abutazil, CESO III, opened the session, emphasizing the significance of accurate infrastructure data for sustainable development. Resource speakers Mr. Shane B. Tolorio and Mr. Nikko D. Baesa from the Office of Project Development Services – Unified Projects Management Office provided an in-depth overview of RBIS, highlighting its role in effective infrastructure planning and management.

The session was attended by Municipal and City Local Government Operations Officers, RBIS Encoders, Municipal Engineers, and Planning Coordinators from Zamboanga Peninsula LGUs, along with DILG IX Provincial and Regional Engineers.

Facilitated by Project Evaluation Officer (PEO) II Vivian J. Quiapo and Engr. Phoelian Dannie Y. Bargamento, the event encouraged active participation and concluded with a call for LGUs to ensure timely data updates on the RBIS platform.
