Isabela City, Basilan – February 5, 2025 – The Local Governance Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) IX, led by its Coordinator and Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD) Chief Alvin Rex Lucero, conducted a legworking activity today in Isabela City to explore a potential partnership with Nagdilaab Foundation, Inc. (NFI).
During the engagement, LGRRC IX presented its mandate, functions, and the various services it offers to local government units (LGUs) and stakeholders. The discussion centered on identifying areas of mutual benefit between LGRRC IX and NFI, particularly in fostering local governance, peacebuilding, and capacity development initiatives in the region.
Nagdilaab Foundation, Inc., an organization known for its commitment to peace and community development, also showcased its services, which include peace and governance, and bridging leadership and peace transformation.
The discussion marked a promising step toward a collaborative partnership between LGRRC IX and NFI.
This legworking activity is part of LGRRC IX’s broader efforts to establish strategic partnerships that will enhance knowledge-sharing and capacity-building among local government units and community stakeholders in Region IX.
