Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur – To strengthen sustainable education in local governance, the DILG Regional Office convened Provincial Focal Persons and DepEd IX representatives on February 7, 2025, in Pagadian City. The session aimed to enhance local education systems by addressing sustainability challenges and fostering stronger collaboration between LGUs and other concerned government agencies.

The discussion covered key issues affecting education sustainability, explored strategies for improvement, and reviewed the previous year’s SGLG results to assess progress and identify areas for further development.

Through initiatives like this, the DILG continues to advocate for inclusive and sustainable education, ensuring better learning opportunities for all.
