Pagadian City, February 6, 2025 – The DILG IX held a deepening session on gender sensitivity and inclusivity in local governance, reinforcing its commitment to equal opportunities for all. This initiative aligns with the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) criteria, which emphasize inclusive governance.

Discussions focused on addressing challenges, strengthening gender-responsive policies, and ensuring inclusivity in government programs. The previous year’s SGLG results were also reviewed to identify areas for improvement.

Key participants included Provincial Focal Persons, MSWDOs, CSWDOs, DSWD Region IX representatives, and PDAO Zamboanga del Sur, all working towards more inclusive governance.

DILG remains committed to fostering accountable leadership and policies that promote inclusivity, ensuring that governance serves all sectors of society.
