𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 – DILG IX’s Coffee Mondays Session on March 10, 2025, provided a platform for insightful discussions on cybersecurity and digital transformation. Facilitated by the Multimedia Knowledge & Information Facility, the session featured Al Kaizer Musa of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) IX, who presented the National Cybersecurity Plan and its relevance to the Department’s operations.

Musa emphasized the importance of strengthening cybersecurity measures in local governance, outlining key strategies to safeguard digital infrastructure. The discussion also delved into cyber threats, data protection, and the necessary interventions to ensure a secure and resilient digital ecosystem within the Department and down to the Local Government Units (LGUs).

Participants actively engaged in the conversation, exploring ways to integrate secure digitalization practices into governance and enhance LGU capacities in cybersecurity. The session reaffirmed DILG IX’s commitment to leveraging technology while ensuring the protection of critical government data.

As digitalization continues to shape governance, DILG IX remains proactive in equipping its personnel and LGUs with the knowledge and tools to navigate the evolving digital landscape securely.
