Following the fruitful year of 2014, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region-9 welcomes the year 2015 with a sunny hope that this year would bring another positive opportunity.

During the first convocation for 2015, DILG-9 Regional Director Paisal O. Abutazil congratulated everyone’s part in contributing the over-all performance of the Department from the regional, provincial, and municipal workforce who worked together in achieving the Department’s mandates.

 

Hopeful of the year’s positive aura, he urged the employees to figure out necessary changes and strive to continue the teamwork as one family.

Year 2015 according to him is full of uncertainties and challenges and the definite course is that this year the DILG will be implementing huge amount of projects under the Bottom Up Budgeting (BUB).

He commented that this year’s budget has doubled compared to last year. 

Looking into this responsibility, RD Abutazil requested the field operating units to look back and to consider optimistically the things that need to be improved.

He is hopeful that the performance of the region would even escalate compared to the past.

“Hence, we need to condition our minds that anything is possible. We need only to maintain our stamina, to boost ourselves on the pressing call of duty,” he said in closing.
