Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) IX convened its GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) for the 4th Quarter Meeting at the Conference Hall, DILG IX in Pagadian City last December 21, 2023. 

The focal point of the gathering initiated with DMO II Beatriz Faye G. Carreon who led the presentation on the recently executed Rollout Training for the Enhanced Guidelines concerning the Operationalization of LCAT-VAWC and Barangay VAW Desk. During the presentation, valuable insights and updates were shared, highlighting the successful implementation of the enhanced guidelines. 

In the course of the gathering, LGOO VI Lizzette Regine R. Boltiador presented the accomplishments of the 4th quarter, shedding light on the notable milestones and successes achieved by the Department. These reports not only emphasize DILG IX’s dedication to its goals but also stand as evidence of the team’s diligent effort and unwavering commitment. 

DILG IX stands unwavering in its dedication to advancing gender equality and inclusivity across its operations. The 4th Quarter GFPS Meeting provided a forum for exchanging insights, experiences, and strategies, fostering ongoing enhancements and increased efficacy of gender-responsive initiatives throughout the region.
