The DILG Region IX will be accepting applicants for the position:

 

JOB TITLE       :              (1) INFORMATION OFFICER III

Salary                 :              Php 42,159.00 /month

Assignment    :              DILG-IX Regional Office

I. SCOPE OF WORK:

As Information Officer III, he/she shall provide assistance to the Office of Project Development Services and DILG Regional Office IX in the full implementation of the Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU) effectively and efficiently.

 

II. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

 

  1. Prepared Communication Plan in communication with the OPDS Communication Officer and other communication officers of the Bureau at DILG-CO;

 

  1. Conduct regular project documentation of good practices and completed projects, and conduct of beneficiary interviews;

 

  1. Provides monthly project documentation report to the regional Director copy furnished the OPDS-DILG-CO;

 

  1. Regularly maintain and update social media accounts/s of the Project/Program of the DILG Regional Office;

 

  1. Prepare IEC materials (infographics, brochures, social media content, etc.) for the PDMU/Regional Office;

 

  1. Prepare and reviews correspondence of the Regional Office, as necessary;

 

  1. Conduct communication-related activities or preparation of materials in collaboration with the OPDS, including its other PMOs and the PACS, when necessary;

 

  1. Prepares audio-visual or PowerPoint presentation/layouts of the Regional Office, as requested; and

 

  1. Perform other tasks as maybe assigned by the Regional Director or immediate supervisor.

I. SCOPE OF WORK:

As Engineer II, he/she shall provide assistance to the LEO 70 Project Management Office and DILG Regional Office IX in the full implementation of the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) effectively and efficiently.

 

II. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

 

  1. Coordinate with the Provincial/ City Local Government Units to ensure on-time implementation of projects;

 

  1. Conduct actual monitoring on the preparation and implementation of SBDP projects in his/ her assigned region/s, province/s and barangays to ensure that the requirements in the LEO70 Implementation Guidelines are complied with;

 

  1. Monitor LGUs/barangays in the preparation and submission of SBDP project requirement, particularly the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and program of works, and provide technical assistance to provides/barangays to facilitate the completion of DED/POW;

 

  1. Provide Status reports on the implementation of projects, including issues and concerns and recommendations within his/her assigned area;

 

  1. Undertake fields visits and conduct random inspection of civil works from time to time to check the quality of works and submit with course of action and recommendations thru appropriate channels;

 

  1. Perform other tasks as maybe assigned by the Regional Director or immediate supervisor.

As Administrative Assistant III (ADAS III), he/she shall provide assistance to the Office of Project Development Services and DILG Regional Office IX in the full implementation of the Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (FALGU) effectively and efficiently.

 

II. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

 

  1. To Record incoming and outgoing communications and other documents being submitted by or sent to the LGUs and Agencies;

 

  1. To Follow-up and electronically track the flow of documents within the Unit to include the obligation, vouchers, checks and other related documents;

 

  1. Manage the filing, storage and security of the documents;

 

  1. Assist in the inventory of the properties and other logistics of the PDMU;

 

  1. Administer the management and physical arrangements of the office;

 

  1. Administer the reproduction of all communications, reports and other documents for filing; as warranted scan all the documents for electronic safekeeping; and

 

  1. Perform other tasks as maybe assigned by the Regional Director or immediate supervisor.
