𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗲, 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 – To further strengthen the functionality of its Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC), the Municipal Government of Molave, Zamboanga del Sur sought technical assistance from the DILG Regional Office IX. In response, a team from DILG IX, composed of LPMC Focal Engr. Mc Allen Barrientos, Engr. Phoelian Dannie Y. Bargamento, and Provincial Engineer Engr. John Paul Caballes, facilitated an orientation on the Organization of the LPMC and the Adoption of the LPMC Functionality Assessment Tool on April 04, 2025.
During the session, Engr. Barrientos and Engr. Bargamento discussed the roles, responsibilities, and key functions of the LPMC in promoting transparency, efficiency, and community involvement in project monitoring. Meanwhile, Engr. Caballes provided a detailed walkthrough on the proper accomplishment of RPMES Forms 1 to 11, emphasizing the required data inputs and the prescribed frequency of submission.
The activity was actively participated in by the Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) of Molave, Ms. Gadelyn C. Palongpalong, together with the members of the LPMC. The session was highly interactive, with participants raising clarifying questions to ensure correct understanding and effective implementation of the guidelines discussed.
The DILG further emphasized that the functionality of LPMCs is assessed quarterly by the Regional Office, with one of the key indicators being the timely and complete submission of RPMES forms via the designated Google Drive platform.
