With the unwavering drive to provide potable water to the entire country particularly to the poor and the people without access to water, the Provision of Potable Water Supply- Sagana at Ligtas na Tubig sa Lahat (SALINTUBIG) Program has been continuously implemented. 

In this regard, The Department of the Interior and Local Government IX has released project funds to seven municipalities on the month of September 2016 to provide assistance for the improvisation of their water systems.  

For SALINTUBIG Program 2015, the municipalities of Diplahan which received 10 Million in full tranche  intended for the Barangays of Sta. Cruz, Kauswagan, Poblacion, Natan, Butong and Tambulig received a full tranche of 8 Million for the Barangays Cabagan, Libato, Roluan,  and Sumalig,  were both released on September 8. Furthermore, Mahayag received 9 Million in full tranche for Barangays Daloquele, Delusom, Balanan, and Tuburan on September 13.

Under the SALINTUBIG Program for 2016, Jose Dalman received 6.4 Million on September 1. On September 7, R.T Lim received first tranche worth 8 Million for Barangays Surabay, Katipunan, Magsaysay, Ali Alsree, Kulambogan, Tupilac, and Malom. Tambulig claimed first tranche on September 8 amounting to 7 Million for Bag-ong Kauswagan, Bag-ong Tabogon, and Tuluan. Municipalities of Mahayag and Molave both received first tranches on September 13 with 2 Million for Barangay San Vicente and 7 Million for Barangays Alicia, Ariosa, and Silangit respectively. Manukan received their payment for full tranche on worth 8 Million  on September 26 and Kabasalan received 6.4 Million for the payment of first tranche on September 27. 

 

On the Other hand, Siocon claimed payment of first tranche amounting to 2.4 Million under Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) on September 22.

Meanwhile, for the Bottom-Up-budgeting (BuB) Program, Kumalarang claimed 660,000 under BuB 2015 for other Infras on September 1 and the municipality of Mutia received second tranche under still under BuB 2015 amounting to 1.4 Million on September 26.

Moreover, the municipalities of Polanco which received 3.6 Million September 2, Manukan which received first tranche payment amounting to 3.3 Million, and Leon Postigo with 4 Million on September 26, were all under the release for BuB 2016.  

These project funds were released after the respective municipality has complied all the necessary requirements.
