Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) IX began the year with the Maiden Regional Management Conference and Program Review, alongside the Cascading of Plans and Budgets for the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG), Regional Gender and Development Focal Point System (RGFPS), and the Local Governance Resource Center (LGRRC). The event was held at Chandler Suites, Pagadian City.
Regional Director Paisal O. Abutazil, CESO III, delivered key directives for FY 2025, while Assistant Regional Director Carmelo Enrique B. Libot, CESO V outlined forward-thinking policy recommendations.
The conference highlighted updates on the 2024 financial report requirements, the 2025 Operational Plan and Budget, and the accomplishments of various offices. Additionally, the LGRRC Core Team and GFPS presented essential updates on their business plans and upcoming initiatives.
Through this gathering, DILG Region IX reaffirmed its commitment to strategic coordination, effective problem-solving, and setting the course for impactful governance in 2025.
