Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) IX marked another milestone in its commitment to employee wellness and camaraderie with the ceremonial turnover of a newly-installed basketball ring, coinciding with its weekly Sports Wednesday activity at the DILG IX Grounds, Balintawak, Pagadian City on March 12, 2025.

The ceremonial turnover symbolizes DILG IX’s continuous efforts to promote health, teamwork, and sportsmanship among its employees. The initiative aims to enhance workplace morale while encouraging physical activity as part of the agency’s wellness program.

Following the turnover, employees eagerly participated in friendly basketball games and other fitness activities, highlighting the spirit of unity and sportsmanship within the DILG IX community. The event not only reinforced the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance but also fostered stronger bonds among personnel.
