Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur – A Deepening Session was held at the DILG IX Regional Office on February 11, 2025, focusing on the formulation of strategic interventions to address key concerns in the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG), particularly in youth development.
The session emphasized the importance of reviewing previous SGLG results to ensure the proper identification and implementation of targeted, data-driven interventions. Active participation from SK Federated Officers, Local Youth Development Officers (LYDOs), and Provincial Youth Development Officers (PYDOs) enriched the discussions, fostering collaborative solutions for youth-related governance.
This initiative aligns with DILG’s commitment to promoting peace and order, ensuring public safety, and strengthening local governance. By prioritizing youth development, the Department reinforces its vision of empowered communities and inclusive growth, ensuring that youth-focused programs are effectively integrated into local governance frameworks.
