	The DILG Region IX will be accepting applicants for the position, to wit:



	 



	               JOB TITLE         :      (1) COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER II



	               Salary                 :      33,575.00



	              Station                 :      DILG Regional Office IX, Pagadian City



	 



	REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS





	A.  Education



	 



	      Graduate of any four (4) year course, preferably relevant to Social Development, and /or Social work.



	 



	B. Job Experience Skills and Knowledge



	 


    

  1. 

    
			Twenty (20) hours of relevant training in community organizing, community mobilization strategies and approaches, social development, and/or Popular Education techniques and approaches.
    

    2. 

  2. 
		At least 2 years of relevant progressive work experience in community organizing and/or social development work. Experience in Participatory Local Governance will be advantage.
    3. 

  3. 
		Must have a strong sense of social responsibility, credible to work with CSO and Local Governments units, able to communicate verbally and in writing to various stakeholders be fluent in the local dialect and or resident of the area to which he or she will be assigned and computer literate.
    4. 




	 



	Scope of Work:



	 



	SLGP Regional Coordination Team shall provide assistance to concerned regional offices



	In achieving the deliverables (taken from SLGP RBME) described as follows:



	 



	I.    ENHANCED OVERALL EFFECIECNY OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT STRUCRE



	 


    

  1. 
		Capacity development activities on enhancing overall efficiency of the local government structure.
    2. 

  2. 
		Policy development exercises in support to enhanced local government structure
    3. 

  3. 
		Monitoring and Evaluation activities in support to enhancing overall efficiency of the local government structure.
