Gingoog City – In a strong show of commitment to mental health and holistic well-being, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) IX conducted a Wellness Camp on Stress Management and Employee Well-Being at the scenic Civoleg Hilltop Garden Resort in Gingoog City.
The one-day activity, held on April 28, 2025, gathered all personnel of the DILG Regional Office IX for a much-needed pause from their daily duties to focus on self-care, mental clarity, and emotional resilience.
Serving as the camp’s main resource person was Brain Coach Ricky John L. Goyeneche of Prodeuz Training Services, accompanied by his capable team. Coach Goyeneche led the participants through a series of breathing exercises and mental techniques designed to help individuals effectively cope with stress, anxiety, and depression – common challenges in today’s fast-paced and high-demand work environments.
Participants engaged in hands-on coaching sessions that emphasized mindfulness, proper breathing, and awareness-based stress reduction. The camp served not only as a learning session but also as an opportunity for the employees to bond, reflect, and recharge in a tranquil setting.
The DILG Regional Office IX expressed its appreciation to Coach Goyeneche and Prodeuz Training Services for sharing their expertise, and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting workplace wellness and supporting the mental health of its workforce.
