Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur – The Regional Advocacy, Information and News Team (RADIANT) convened at the Arnel F. Gudio Hall, DILG IX, Balintawak, Pagadian City, to unveil its comprehensive strategic plan for 2024-2026. The event brought together key personnel in the pursuit of effective communication, advocacy, and information dissemination.

The RADIANT is DILG IX’s information and creatives unit that is a devoted assembly of skilled individuals who are wholeheartedly dedicated to advancing efficient communication, advocacy, and the dissemination of information in their quest for community development and government transparency. The team aspires to serve as a guiding light of truth and a driving force for constructive transformation in the regions it caters to. 

The event kicked off with a motivational address from Engr. Carmelo Enrique B. Libot, CESO V, Assistant Regional Director of DILG IX. ARD Libot established the atmosphere for the strategic planning session, underscoring the pivotal role of communication in nurturing community involvement and promoting transparency within the government. 

Beatriz Faye G. Carreon, the Associate Editor-in-Chief of RADIANT, presented the committed members of the RADIANT Team. She underscored the varied skills and dedication each team member possesses, underscoring the cooperative trait that characterizes RADIANT’s mission approach. 

RADIANT’s Copy Editor, Meredel Fe P. Fullo, stepped forward to showcase the Strategic Plan, Framework, Vision, Mission, and Goals of the team. She provided detailed insights into the careful procedures involved in crafting a roadmap that resonates with the organization’s fundamental values and aspirations. The presentation emphasized RADIANT’s dedication to upholding standards of excellence in journalism, advocacy, and community service. 

The proceedings persisted with a thought-provoking dialogue exploring the challenges encountered in 2023. The team introduced inventive solutions and pondered the consequences of their efforts in overcoming obstacles. This reflective examination laid the groundwork for the subsequent planning session, during which the team delineated strategic initiatives for the period spanning from 2024 to 2026. 

The RADIANT team exuded a noticeable determination and enthusiasm throughout the event, demonstrating their steadfast dedication to the organization’s mission and the communities they are committed to serving.
