The DILG Region IX will be accepting applicants for the following positions:
 
JOB TITLE : REGIONAL PROJECT OFFICER
{Center for Federalism and Constitutional Reform – Project Management Office}
 
Salary : Php 40,637.00 (SG 18)
Assignment : DILG Regional Office, Pagadian City 

 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
A. Education
 
Preferably a graduate of Four-year course on Development Studies, Community Organizing or any other related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
 
B. Work Experience
 
At least 3 years of solid experience on implementing projects/programs on community development and sustainable development supervision.
 
C. Training Work Experience
 
Relevant trainings on community organizing, community development, management, and coordination.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  1. The Regional Project Officer shall assist the Chief Project Officer in the implementation of federalism campaign projects to ensure the efficient delivery of the PMOs functions at the regional level.
  2. Provide technical assistance on matters related to the implementation of federalism campaign advocacy project.
  3. Assist the Federalism Focal Person in Planning, Organizing, coordinating, and facilitating forum, awareness campaign, IECs and other activities related to Federalism and Constitutional Reform, in his/her respective area of destination as directed by upper management in the Central Office;
  4. Ensure proper implementation of the program in the field and the proper utilization of funds sub-allotted to the Regional Office;
  5. Attend all Regional Meetings, activities and initiatives on Federalism and Constitutional reform;
  6. Provide technical assistance to the DILG Regional Directors and Federalism Focal Person on Matters pertaining to Federalism;
  7. Supervise and guide local coordinators deployed in the provinces and/or cities and municipalities of the region where he is located, address their needs and concerns;
  8. Assist the Coordinators in drafting of reports pertaining to Federalism Activities and initiatives that were implemented;
  9. In the performance of the foregoing duties and responsibilities, may be authorized to on official travel;
  10. In the absence of Federalism related Functions, perform administrative  and technical function to assist Focal Person in the implementation of programs, projects and activities lodged at the Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division;
  11. Do other task that may be assigned by the Regional Management.
