Zamboanga City – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) IX provided technical assistance to Zamboanga City in the review and updating of its Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan. The activity took place at the City Hall Conference Room and aimed to strengthen the city’s strategic framework for ensuring peace and public safety. 

LGOO V Chrisjoe G. Morales led the technical assistance session, offering in-depth guidance on aligning the POPS Plan with current policies and best practices. The engagement highlighted DILG IX’s commitment to supporting Local Government Units (LGUs) in maintaining safety and order in their communities. 

The workshop was part of DILG IX’s continuous efforts to bolster the capacities of local government units in strategic planning and effective public safety management.
