The Department of the Interior and Local Government  has released the second tranche check under the Bottom-Up-Budgeting (BuB) 2015 for the Municipality of Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur amounting to P2.3M, today,  August 10, 2016.

The fund is intended for the rehabilitation and improvement on some sections of the 1.8 kilometer river protection structure along Sibuguey River to serve as shield for the people living in Barangay Poblacion and Lower Kahayagan which are considered as the hub of urbanization for the municipality against freqent excessive flooding.

With a target physical output of plastering the back fraction of the entire 1.8 kilometer structure and sectional repair of damaged portions which cover about 220 meters long, the project is set to benefit more than eight thousand (8000) individuals once completed.
