Last February 20-23, the DILG Regional Focals for the monitoring platform of DILG, Subaybayan/RLIP/RSSA, provided technical support to the identified high-risk municipalities in Zamboanga del Norte. These municipalities lacked sufficient data and required assistance in submitting attachments to the Subaybayan portal (including LFPs and RLIP) and the RSSA portal.

Before commencing one-on-one technical assistance with the Encoders, the RO/PO Personnel/Engineers conducted a conference-type meeting to provide an overview of the Department’s online monitoring tool and the current compliance rate of their LGUs. In attendance were the MLGOOs, Municipal Mayors, personnel from the Engineering and Accounting Office, and MPDC representatives. The Regional Focals emphasized the significance of timely reporting in Subaybayan.

Furthermore, as a result of this initiative, the municipalities have now appointed their Subaybayan Focal Points. This addresses the recurring issue we often encounter: the lack of project updates due to the absence of a designated focal person in their localities.
